Project Engineer Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)

Description

• Planning, specification, qualification, and technical project execution for our globally installed containerized power plants
• Detailed engineering and design, calculation, specification of cooling-/exhaust-/ventilation-systems, valves and piping regarding pressure losses, pressure resistance, and statics
• Preparation of drawings and bills of materials, specifications for purchased parts, and administration of existing data
• Providing technical expertise and solutions during order clarification
• collaboration with project management, development, and order engineering teams
• Consideration of plant safety requirements
• Further development of supplier relationships in cooperation with sourcing
• Support of our production with feasibility, availability, and problem-solving expertise
• Executing projects for defect prevention and support in identifying and analysing root-causes
• Active participation in the continuous improvement and further development of our container products, processes, and tools
• Coordination with all departments being involved in the order execution while considering the project timeline

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or similar
• professional experience in plant planning and design
• Confident handling of 3D CAD programs (Catia V5 or Creo) and AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD P&ID, Plant 3D)
• Good MS Office skills
• High degree of independence, commitment, and teamwork ability
• Resilience and ability to work in a fast-growing area, as well as flexibility
• Strong analytical working style
• Organizational and implementation skills
• Willingness to travel (up to ~20%)
