German Speaker Content Moderator

Position: Content Moderator with German

Location: Hybrid, Qormi, Malta (office) AND remote from anywhere in Malta

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review user-generated content (e.g. sales ads)
• Support users and answer their questions via email
• Respond to customer inquiries on all topics related to the online marketplace
• Participate in regular training sessions to learn and maintain expert knowledge of publication rules, market trends and moderation best practices
• Provide feedback to managers on trends, common end-user mistakes and questions
• Give an input on improvements of publication rules to improve user experiences
• Follow communication procedures and policies
• Evaluate and make decisions in accordance with defined policies and guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native / fluent in German both verbal and written. Fluent in English (minimum B2 level)
• Previous experience in content moderation, customer care and/or online business will be considred as an advantage
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Flexible and able to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment
• Conscientious and reliable
• Strong attention to detail
• Customer focused with willingness to assist
• Team player.
