The Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and highly capable professional to join our team in a dynamic hybrid role in Barcelona. This is an incredible opportunity for a German-Speaking Google Ads Onboarding Account Manager to contribute to a company that's revolutionizing digital marketing. In this crucial position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of new and promising clients. Your role is not just about setting up campaigns—it's about building lasting partnerships. By focusing on successful onboarding, you will help companies maximize the value of our tool, which in turn will drive product adoption, reduce client churn, and lead to new opportunities for growth. You'll have the exciting responsibility of identifying future "unicorns" and helping them achieve their potential.

What You'll Do

  • Client Success Leadership: Take the lead on client success by managing the onboarding process for new accounts. This involves the meticulous design and implementation of high-performing PPC campaigns that deliver both quick wins and sustainable, long-term results.
  • Proactive Engagement: Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to engage with prospective clients. Your mission is to understand their unique needs and objectives, then present and sell tailored solutions that are the perfect fit for their business.
  • Driving Revenue: Be responsible for expanding client accounts by increasing their spending and identifying strategic upselling opportunities. You will play a direct role in unlocking significant revenue within a valuable and growing market.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update a comprehensive customer database to ensure data integrity, which will support business intelligence and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Bring

  • Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree in Marketing or Communications is highly preferred. You have at least two years of experience in sales or marketing, with a proven track record of successful client-facing interactions, particularly in high-stakes environments.
  • Language Proficiency: You are a professional communicator with native-level or C2 proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken. You can clearly and persuasively explain complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Mindset & Proactivity: You are a self-starter who thrives in a goal-oriented environment and consistently delivers impactful results. You are capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Business Acumen & Market Analysis: You possess a solid understanding of business principles and can analyze market trends and competitor landscapes to inform strategic decisions. You have a strong customer-first approach and are committed to delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are highly proficient in using CRM systems for relationship management and are skilled at integrating AI tools into your workflow to gain insights and personalize outreach.

  • Cultural Acumen: You have a deep understanding of German business etiquette, cultural nuances, and practices, allowing you to build trust and rapport with clients effortlessly.
  • Strategic Thinking: You have the ability to identify and target high-growth potential companies and to navigate and manage complex stakeholder structures, including those with multiple agencies or skeptical customers.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving: You are equipped with complex problem-solving skills to navigate challenging contexts and a strong grasp of the digital marketing ecosystem in German regions.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: You are knowledgeable about local regulations, especially concerning data privacy (GDPR), and can tailor your outreach strategies to align with clients’ high focus on data protection.
