Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior UX/UI Designer

You care deeply about how users experience digital products – and know how to turn complexity into intuitive design? At SQUER, you’ll shape interfaces that not only look great, but solve real-world problems. This is a consulting role – your impact unfolds directly with and for our clients.
  • User Insights: Conduct user research and usability tests to understand behaviors, pain points, and expectations. Transform findings into personas, scenarios, and user stories.
  • AI-Driven Efficiency: Apply AI tools to accelerate design tasks such as prototyping, ideation, and user research – while maintaining a high standard of quality and user focus.
  • Prototyping: Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes to explore design ideas and validate usability early.
  • Design Ownership: Lead design efforts across the entire lifecycle – from ideation to implementation – ensuring consistency and alignment with product vision.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers and stakeholders to align design with technical and business goals.
  • Iteration: Integrate feedback quickly and pragmatically – from stakeholders, team members or users – to refine concepts.
  • Design Documentation: Provide clear, structured documentation that guides development and ensures smooth handovers.
  • Mentoring: Support and mentor other designers – helping them grow through coaching and design feedback.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate design rationale confidently to customers, internal teams and decision makers.
  • Design Process: Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows and collaboration patterns within the design process.
  • Design Tools: Proficient in Figma (or similar tools) and capable of creating polished, production-ready designs.
  • User-Centered Thinking: Deep understanding of user research methods and a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Leadership Qualities: Confident leading initiatives, guiding teams, and mentoring junior designers.
  • Communication Strength: Able to moderate workshops, explain design decisions, and inspire through clear, empathic communication.
  • Process Awareness: Experienced in agile environments and capable of translating business needs into usable, valuable design.
  • Consulting Mindset: Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented – with the ability to thrive in dynamic client projects.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and German
