Senior Buyer (m/f/d)

• Manage supplier development, selection, and performance evaluation


• Negotiate purchasing terms and manage complex purchasing processes


• Initiate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery schedules


• Monitor and optimize procurement and supply chain processes


• Ensure appropriate inventory levels while avoiding shortages or overstock


• Identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives


• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships


• Analyze purchasing trends and report on supplier performance


• Maintain master data and procurement systems (ERP/MRP)


• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or comparable qualification


• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices)


• Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office


• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards


• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills


• Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style


• Fluent in German and English


• Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
