Senior Controller (f/m/x)

To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a Sr Controller with a focus on cost accounting who will create transparency on our costs and profitability and take ownership of our Record-to-Report process.

What You'll Do

• Own product costing for our entire product portfolio, including bills of materials, overhead allocation and cost rates
• Maintain and continuously improve our cost centre structure and costing methodology, including alignment with financial reporting
• Analyse manufacturing costs and variances and derive recommendations for improvement
• Provide management with insights on product, customer and country profitability as a basis for portfolio management
• Take responsibility for project controlling – from budgeting and cost tracking to forecasting and variance analysis
• Act as international Business Process Owner for Record-to-Report (controlling, accounting, closing, reporting) and implement a lean, highly automated end-to-end process
• Steer workflows, responsibilities and interfaces and drive efficiency across R2R – from quick wins to sustainable process improvements
• Over time, contribute to budgeting, forecasting, investment and make-or-buy decisions

What You Bring

• A degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field
• At least 5 years of experience in cost or production controlling in a manufacturing environment
• A strong command of cost accounting, product costing and overhead allocation as well as a solid understanding of production processes
• Advanced Excel and ERP skills (ideally BMD or Business Central); experience with planning tools such as VENA is a plus
• Experience in R2R process improvement, process automation or ERP projects is an advantage
• An analytical mindset and the ability to act as a trusted partner for Operations and management
• Very good German and English skills

Compensation

For this position, we offer a market-competitive annual gross salary starting at EUR 51,557.00 based on full-time employment, which is above the applicable collective agreement minimum salary. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
