Senior Electrical Engineer - Low Voltage

## \n\nEaton is looking for \n\nan electrical design engineer\n\nThis position will be located in our plant in Schrems electrical sector (enclosures/power distribution components) \n\n \nLocation: Schrems, Austria\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nResponsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and assemblies in low voltage applications.\n\nThis role ensures that all LVSA products meet performance, quality, and safety standards, while supporting manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement. \n\nDesign \u0026 Development:\n\n \n\u2022 Develop and optimize electrical designs for LVSA products, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts. \n\u2022 Select components (switchgear, breakers, relays, busbars, control devices) according to technical, quality, and cost requirements. \n\u2022 Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, UL, NFPA, etc.).\n\nManufacturing Support;\n\n \n\u2022 Provide technical guidance to production and assembly teams. \n\u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and testing. \n\u2022 Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and System Engineers to ensure seamless integration of components.\n\nQuality \u0026 Compliance:\n\n \n\u2022 Validate designs through testing, simulation, and prototyping. \n\u2022 Review products to ensure adherence to safety regulations and internal quality policies. \n\u2022 Participate in root-cause analysis for defects or failures and implement corrective actions.\n\nProcess \u0026 Continuous Improvement:\n\n \n\u2022 Work with Process Engineers to streamline manufacturing steps and reduce assembly time. \n\u2022 Recommend design changes to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.\n\n## \n\n#### We would like you to bring:\n\n * Technical education ( with focus on electrical engineering)\n * Practical experience with electrical design of electrical circuits (low voltage systems)\n * Good English skills \n\n\n\n## \n\n * Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, protection devices, and control circuits.\n * Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools \n \n\n\n\n\nWhat Eaton offers:\n\n \n\n\n * Competitive compensation and benefits package\n * Challenging projects in dynamic and collaborative team\n * Great promotional opportunities - We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible\n * Excellent working environment - Safety and ethics are really important for us\n * Inclusion \u0026 Diversity - Openness to diversity widens our access to the best talent.
