Senior Legal Counsel

- Deliver business-strategy-aligned legal services;

- Identify and resolve legal and regulatory issues;

- Manage litigation and disputes;

- Support Product, underwriting and distributions teams on design of insurance products;

- Support and, in some cases, lead communication with insurance and data privacy regulators and consumer protection bodies and help ensure regulatory readiness in time of rapid change;

- Advise on corporate governance matters for company's operations in Europe;

- Advise and lead business/drafting and negotiation of contracts to be entered into with external client distributors, insurers, etc.

- Contract end-to-end process management:

- Provide the business with advice in relation to statutory and regulatory obligations and issues;

- Data protection;

- Help the Head of Legal & Governance actively, strategically and cost effectively.

- Degree in Law;

- Experience in insurance distribution lawyer;

- Experience dealing with relevant regulators;

-Strong commercial contract and distribution agreement drafting and negotiation experience;

-Demonstrated technical legal expertise across legal and regulatory subjects relevant to insurance sector including data privacy, financial crime regulations and corporate law;

- German and English fluency;

-Strong communication, stakeholder management and a teamwork skills.

- Direct contract with the company;
