Your tasks

• Lead mid-size Energy Asset or Corporate Business Development (BD) and M&A projects, with full accountability for delivery.


• Manage workstreams or sub-projects within large, complex projects.


• Lead cross-functional, international project teams including advisors and senior experts.


• Deliver high-quality evaluations, risk assessments, and decision recommendations aligned with governance requirements.


• Develop strong strategic rationale and investment cases for acquisitions and growth opportunities.


• Prepare and manage project decision gates, including reviews, pre-alignments, and assurance processes.


• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors (technical, commercial, financial, legal).


• Contribute to negotiation and execution of transaction agreements.


• Lead integration planning and post-acquisition execution to deliver expected returns.


• Ensure compliance with governance, HSSE standards, and internal management systems.

Your profile

• Master’s degree / diploma in commercial, engineering, subsurface, or a relevant field.


• Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.


• Proven track record in energy business development (preferably upstream) and/or M&A projects.


• Strong financial and analytical skills, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis.


• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills in international environments.


• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, including experience leading project teams.


• Flexible, resilient, team oriented, with an aptitude for leveraging our energy data sets and AI tools to improve project performance. 


• Fluency in English.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 114,828 all-in. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
