Senior SOC Analyst (m/f/d)

To strengthen our motivated IT Security Operations Team at our headquarters in Vienna, we are looking for a passionate Senior SOC Analyst (m/f/d). 

Your Role

• You drive our further development for Cyber Defense
• You detect incidents, attacks, campaigns and mitigation as well as assesing the extent of an attack 
• You investigate and analyse the root cause of incidents and breaches including reporting and documentation 
• You keep up-to-date for new threats and attacks practices 
• You initate and implement incident response measures and cyber security incident analyses
• You take over the further development & fine-tuning of monitoring, logging as well as incident response tools and processes
• You develop playbooks
• You work closely with our internal and external peers like network, data center, digital workplace, local IT´s, clients, 3rd parties and our information security team

Your Profile

• You have completed your studies, preferably with a focus on IT and/or cyber security or equivalent training
• Certifications in the field of security (fe. CySA+, OSCP, CISSP, GCIH, CEH, GCFE/GCFA, GCTI, ..) are advantageous
• You have a in-depth knowledge of current threat landscape, offensive tooling, MITRE ATT&CK® techniques, Cyber Kill Chain, Pyramid of Pain
• You have gained a very good technical understanding (logging & monitoring, digital forensic, network security, application security, endpoint security, cryptography,...)
• You are familiar with the most common Vulnerability Management Tools, XDR´s and Log Resources in both fields cloud and prem
• As Security is your passion, it's an enjoyment to stay at the edge of technology
• You have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, German skills are a significant plus

For this position, an annual compensation package starting at € 65,000 gross all-in is offered according to your qualifications and professional experience.
