Using schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation, you perform thorough testing and troubleshooting, including fault isolation and support in identifying effective corrective actions under the guidance of Supplier Test Engineers. \n\nIn this role, you directly contribute to resolving day-to-day test-related line-down issues at remote factory sites, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability across Lam\u2019s engineering systems. \n\n \n\n### What You Will Do \n\n * Execute and support test processes and test fixtures for Lam systems in accordance with defined procedures and work instructions\n\n\n\n\n * Improve and update test fixtures at remote factory locations under guidance of Supplier Test Engineers\n\n\n\n\n * Support test fixture transitions, duplication, rebuilds, and setup activities in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering teams and Supplier Test Engineer\n\n\n\n\n * Provide remote and on-site support during test-related line-down situations to restore production quickly and safely\n\n\n\n\n * Perform system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical testing and troubleshooting\n\n\n\n\n * Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus\n\n\n\n\n * Accurately document failures, corrective actions, and fixture updates to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement through lam system\n\n\n\n\n * Maintain and update test documentation and test fixture Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required\n\n\n\n\n * Escalate unresolved or systemic issues to Supplier Test Engineers, Leads, or Supervisors in a timely and structured manner\n\n\n\n\n * Support Manufacturing Engineering activities in cleanroom production, including assembly instruction support and BOM verification for test fixtures\n\n\n\n\n * Ensure compliance with Lam quality, safety, and cleanroom standards\n\n\n\n\n * Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support daily manufacturing operations\n\n\n\n\n### \n\n### What We Are Looking For \n\n * Technical education in Electronics or Mechatronics (Technical High School preferred) or equivalent experience \n\n\n\n\n * Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience \n\n\n\n\n * Solid understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals \n\n\n\n\n * Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronic systems \n\n\n\n\n * Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices is a plus \n\n\n\n\n * Hands-on experience with CAD, NX or similar tools \n\n\n\n\n * Strong team player with a solution-oriented mindset \n\n\n\n\n * Proficiency in MS Office applications \n\n\n\n\n * Self-managed, proactive working style \n\n\n\n\n * Willingness to work overtime when required and travel to supplier or Lam sites \n\n\n\n\n * Effective written and verbal communication skills in English \n\n\n\n\n * Semiconductor industry experience is an advantage \n\n\n\n\n \n\n### What We\u0027re Offering\n\nThis position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in the occupation group D-E. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills.
