Currently we’re looking for a System Engineer (m/f/d) for entrance systems (entrance doors, wheelchair elevators, folding and sliding steps) in Passenger Coaches for Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH. Become a part of our team in Graz!

Tasks

• Technical design concepts for entrance systems (entrance doors, wheelchair elevators, folding and sliding steps)
• Defining functional concepts as requirements for the software department
• Technical Lead of an international project team
• 3D design and drawing derivation
• Supporting quality assurance
• First article inspection and type tests
• Conceptualization and feasibility studies
• Market monitoring and product analysis (components and vehicles)

Skills

• A completed technical degree (technical university or university of applied science) in the subjects of mechanical engineering, rolling stock engineering, industrial design, or comparable job experience
• Experience with the design of entrance system in railway engineering preferred
• You are fluent in English and have good German skills
• You have basic knowledge of electrical engineering
• You are willing to travel
• You are a team player with international flair

The gross annual payment for this job vacancy is at least 53.500,- EUR (full-time). Siemens as an international company offers additional social benefits.
