Internship Organoid (8 months, full time)

Tulln an der Donau, Austria We are looking for motivated students interested in conducting a master thesis or internship in the area of cell biology. You will work hands‑on with organoid and organ‑on‑a‑chip models, gain experience with different endpoints, and contribute to innovative research projects within an interdisciplinary team. Your key responsibilities Generation and maintenance of organoid cultures Optimize organoid culture conditions Support characterization of organoids Assist with endpoint analyses (e.g. mRNA isolation, ELISA assays, Cell viability assays, IHC staining) Support organ‑on‑a‑chip experiments Document experimental work and results according to guidelines We offer Opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a modern cell biology laboratory Further develop practical expertise in cell culture, organoid and advanced in‑vitro methods Gain experience with a range of experimental endpoints (e.g. molecular, biochemical and imaging‑based assays) Work within an interdisciplinary team of scientists from different backgrounds Involvement in innovative research projects (e.g. organ‑on‑a‑chip) Close supervision and support We are legally obliged to inform you that, according to the applicable collective agreement, the salary for this position is €2,156 gross per month.
