Internship: Software Engineer Secure Java Tools for Trust Provisioning (m/f/d)

Trust Provisioning is the secure creation, insertion, and distribution of confidential data and key material for chip personalization, including product configuration and development of software for the underlying production flows.

Your Responsibilities:
• Designing, implementing, and testing of components, used in secure chip provisioning production flows
• Creation of production tools, web services, and scripts, written in Java (SE) and Python

Your Profile:
• Ongoing studies in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Security, Telematics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Interested in software engineering, Java and script development
• Interested in cryptographic protocols
• Interested in security and cryptography
• Self-organized and team-oriented
• Solid English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Open-minded and a good communicator
• Availability around 20 hours per week

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.800- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
