Backfill L1 Desktop Support Technician - Wien, Austria - Part-Time

Location: Wien, Austria

Language requirements: B2 German, B2 English

Other requirements: Valid work permit, technician needs to be available at least 6 months.

Overview:

We are looking for a Technician to support a customer location in Wien, Austria. This role requires a highly skilled individual with L1 desktop support capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability by end users
  
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Windows workstations and mobility support / management
  
• Should have practitioner-level knowledge in SCCM 2012 and O365
  
• Should be proficient in command languages for remotely installing and managing the applications
  
• Repair or replace damaged hardware like laptops/desktops/iPad
  
• Upgrade the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers as per client standards
  
• Installing and upgrading anti-virus software on the computer to ensure security standards are met as defined by the client
  
• Provide support to users and be the first point of contact for error reporting/ticket management skills
  
• Establish good rapport with all departments and colleagues
  
• Conduct daily ticket / queue Management. 

Qualifications:

• Proven L1 Desktop Support skills and familiarity with IMAC processes.
  
• Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting Mac systems.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across various locations.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to travel to various locations as needed.
