Arbeitsbeschreibung - Accounting Assistant (all genders) part time

We are looking to fill a new position for an Accounting Assistant (all genders) on a part-time basis (24 hours per week).

At Quantum Technology Laboratories GmbH (qtlabs), we are driving innovation in optical and quantum-based communication technologies. Our team develops cutting-edge quantum key distribution (QKD) systems and optoelectronic solutions for space and terrestrial applications. Based in Vienna, our center of excellence contributes to shaping secure global communication through technological advancement.

As a valued member of our finance team, your responsibilities will include:

Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting activities
Processing and posting of invoices, purchase orders, and incoming goods
Support in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
Account reconciliation and maintenance of accounting records
Communication with suppliers and customers, including in English
General administrative tasks related to accounting
Support in day-to-day financial operations

Completed accounting education or equivalent qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting
Very accurate, structured, and reliable working style
Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
Very good command of English (spoken and written, for correspondence)
Solid understanding of accounting processes
Independent, responsible, and team-oriented working style
