Accountant - full- or part-time (min. 25 hours per week)

We are currently looking to expand our young, international and diverse team of experts with the addition of an experienced accountant (f/m/x). Within this role you will be responsible for:

1. Ongoing accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, intercompany accounting and general accounting) in Austrian GAAP
2. Month-end and year-end closing activities
3. Creation and implementation of payment runs
4. Maintaining financial security through compliance with internal controls
5. Creation of tax office reports
6. Correspondence with the authorities, banks, tax consultants and vendors
7. Optimization of ERP system based on local accounting standards
8. Participation in special projects and process improvement activities
9. Processing of various ad hoc inquiries
10. Daily interface and collaboration with administration, procurement and other departments

We are a dynamic, young team who values passion and drives to push things to the next level. If you think this role is a good fit for you, you will also have:

1. Completed commercial vocational training (focus on bookkeeping and accounting)
2. 3 to 5 years’ relevant professional experience in accounting
3. Experience with Austrian accounting standards
4. Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)
5. Experience with accounting software such as Sage/DPW would be an advantage
6. Must be fluent in English, German skills are of advantage
7. Independent, structured and precise way of working
