SECONDARY MATHEMATICS NEEDED IN BAHRAIN - AUGUST

A private international school in Bahrain is starting its recruitment for the next academic year. This is not a typical expatriate school; students will be mostly Arabic and will be speaking English as a second language.

Salary and Package:
A monthly tax free salary range of BD- including housing allowance, annual flights and medical insurance.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge:
•Evidence of up to date knowledge of teaching Business in iGCSE & AS/A Level / Cambridge curriculum
•Understanding of the significance of our school ethos.
•Understanding of the requirements of good classroom management.

Skills and Abilities:
- Commitment to curriculum continuity between the phases.
- Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning.
- Meticulous record keeping of student records and intervention strategies.
- Able to provide a practical commitment to an equal opportunities policy of inclusivity.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team.

Experience:
•At least two year’s teaching experience in the specified subject / less will be considered on a case by case basis
•Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements.
•Evidence of good personal relationships/ team player.
•Evidence of experience of working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour.

Educational:
•Qualified teacher with a Bachelor degree in Mathematics
•Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country in which you obtained the degree.
•Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development(CPD) activities as a participant.

Special Requirements:
•Applicant’s compliance to supporting and upholding the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
•A Criminal Record Disclosure will be required prior to appointment.
•Excellent and unequivocal references.
•Good attendance and health record.
