As a Junior Purchasing Officer you will supportthe procurement team in sourcing purchasing and negotiating withsuppliers to acquire goods and services essential for theorganizations operations. You will assist in maintaining accuraterecords analyzing market trends and ensuring timely delivery ofgoods.

MAINDUTIES:

• Communicatewith suppliers to obtain quotes negotiate prices and finalizepurchase agreements.
• Assist in the creation andprocessing of purchase orders for goods and services ensuringaccuracy and compliance with organizationalpolicies.
• Conduct research on potentialsuppliers market trends and pricing to support decisionmaking andcostsaving initiatives.
• Maintain procurementrecords including contracts purchase orders and supplier agreementsensuring they are accurate and uptodate.
• Assistin monitoring inventory levels and reordering supplies as needed tomaintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensureprocurement activities comply with organizational policiesprocedures and relevantregulations.
• Collaborate with other departmentssuch as finance and operations to coordinate procurement activitiesand meet organizational needs.
• Address anyissues or discrepancies with orders deliveries or invoices and workto resolve them in a timely manner.
• Assist inidentifying costsaving opportunities and strategies to optimizeprocurementprocesses.

QUALIFICATIONS ANDSKILLS:

• Bachelorsdegree in business administration supply chain management orrelated field (preferred).
• Strong attention todetail and organizational skills.
• Excellentcommunication and negotiationskills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suiteparticularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to workeffectively in a team environment.
• Familiaritywith procurement software or systems is aplus.
