The Opportunity

We’re building ourinternal People team to focus intentionally on continuouslyimproving the engagement, development, and retention of people atDeel as we scale. We’re focused on aligning our peoplestrategy to the overall business strategy and objectives to ensurewe’re building programs, support, and services for thebusiness and individuals achieving theirgoals.

HR Business Partners are the connectivetissue between our centers of excellence on the core People teamand the business. The role is critical to ensuring we are notbuilding in a silo but rather building with a purpose we canarticulate back to the business and see the future of work at Deel,then help develop a plan to getthere.

What kind of personthrives in thisrole?

Experienced individualswho have successfully operated as HR business partners leadingsignificant change initiatives, internal communications strategies,performance management, team member relations, and connectingbusiness strategy to people team programs and operations will bemost successful in this role. Strong business acumen and businessinterest, an understanding of data and metrics, and operations, andthe ability to take raw data and build stories and analysis for thebusiness are also critical for the role. Individuals should becomfortable working in ambiguity, leading autonomously as a PeoplePartner, and educating the business on how to leverage HR andupskill managers and senior leaders will also be vital as we buildout our network across thecompany.

Duties

  • Advising and influencing PeopleManagers and Senior Leaders across the operationsorganization.
  • Building relationships,delivering impact to your client groups, and leveraging yourexperience and the core People team to solve critical businessproblems and complex challenges.
  • Executing ourbusiness-aligned people strategy by working in partnership withyour client groups to understand what we must achieve andprioritize, and then working with the broader People team andbusiness to build and deliversolutions.
  • Leveraging your deep experience asan HRBP and subject matter expertise in the people domain to fosterthe future of work at Deel proactively; and building programs toengage, retain and develop our people throughout their careers withDeel
  • Coaching and developing our operation teamleaders and managers in change management, buildinghigh-performance teams, understanding and improving engagement,best practices in communication, and navigating complex team memberrelations and terminations.
  • Partnering acrossTotal Rewards, People Operations, People Tech and Data, PeopleDevelopment, Talent Acquisition, and the business to ensurewe’re setting people up for success from their onboardingthrough their experience at Deel, with a deep understanding andmapping to our team member journeys.
  • Supportingstrategic workforce planning while balancing intentionalorganizational design, hyper-growth headcount plans, and constantchange.
  • Effectively managing constant changeacross the business through communication, advocacy, collaboration,and planning. Acting as a change management expert and educatingthe business as we build a stronger muscle for managingchange.
