JOB TITLE: Senior Supervisor - Construction(Mechanical)

KeyResponsibilities

• Supervising construction activitiesand field personnel related to mechanical, piping, painting,insulation, refractory and fireproofingdiscipline.
• Conduct tool boxtalks
• Monitoring daily construction activitiesand daily progress in his area
• Promotes jobsite safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job sitehazards immediately. Regularly participation in HSE meetings, dailyjobsite walks, conducts toolbox talks and keeprecords.
• Build right first time in line withQinC initiative and put maximum efforts to get inspection recordssigned off with no/minimum punch listitems.
• Implement construction work processes,project procedures and instructions within assignedoperations.
• Prepare reports relating toconstruction progress, job manpower forecastsetc.
• Alert Construction Manager or ConstructionSuperintendent whenever any aspect of the work does not comply withthe contract requirements or is being performed outside of thecontract scope.
• Attend subcontract/costawareness sessions and understand the Responsibility matrices, BOQ& preambles of subcontract.
• Providesolutions to subcontractors problems in order to achieve thesuccessful execution of the project. Verify that the materialhanded over to the Subcontractor is controlled, preserved andissued for the intended purpose.
• Serves as acoach and mentor for less experiencedstaff
• Input site construction feedback inConstruction Observation Form
• Closely monitoradditional work of Site Instruction until work is completed and toinform Subcontracts team for closure of SiteInstruction.
