The Associate Director, Global Development (GD) Culture and DEI, is a core role within Global Development (GD) that is responsible for developing and amplifying culture and DEI initiatives across GD.This role will partner with appropriate stakeholders, including the GD Global Communications Leader, Strategy & Deployment Head and Business Growth, Innovation & Advocacy Head to help develop and align on a holistic internal and external communications strategy, approach and plan that supports the overall GD goals and objectives (incl. diversity targets), embeds change, strengthens culture and implements key ways of working. The Associate Director will collaborate with the GD Global Communications Leader to maintain a centralized communications calendar that provides visibility to the Head, Global Development of all internal and external GD communications.

The Associate Director, GD Culture and DEI will oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various internal channels, including websites (e.g., Viva), newsletters, and other avenues as needed, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. They will help coordinate senior leader forums and quarterly town halls for the organization.This role will focus on developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy to strengthen culture, drive change, and promote inclusivity within the organization.

Primary responsibilities:

· Facilitate defining and executing DEI and culture initiatives for GD, focusing on strengthening culture, driving change, and promoting inclusivity within the organization

· Serve as central enabler for GD-wide culture and DEI initiatives (e.g., employee engagement initiatives, grass roots DEI initiatives)

· Develop clear, high-quality, and engaging internal business and change management communications across GD to enable employee engagement, comprehension and behavior change inclusive of meetings, town halls, newsletters, etc.

· Coordinate the delivery /tracking of GD business and change management communications across all functions, ensuring alignment with the Head of GD Communications on macro-level communications when appropriate

Qualifications

Education:

Required:

· 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 5-7 years experience in a senior role addressing DEI, culture, and other relevant topics

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong editorial content development and editing skills

· Strong leadership and team management abilities

· Experience working in a global, matrixed team

· Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication strategies

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities

· Proficiency in digital communication tools, internal social communications platforms, and content management systems

· Experience in working in cross-functional teams – change management experience in driving complex significant transformation efforts

· Up to 10% travel – Domestic & International

Preferred:

· Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

· Experience in change management and behavior change in large complex organizations

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550

* The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States.Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

· Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

· Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year

· Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year

· Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
