Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Global Engineering & Technology (GET) organization at Johnson & Johnson as Partnerships and External Manufacturing Support Lead for Small Molecules. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a global role based at one of our major manufacturing locations (Beerse/Geel, Belgium; Latina, Italy; Gurabo, Puerto Rico; East Coast, USA). We welcome both part-time applicants (80% of a working week) and individuals returning to the workplace after a career break.

Position Summary

As the Partnerships and External Manufacturing Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving asset management excellence across our Small Molecules manufacturing network. Joining our global engineering group, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with individuals who consistently demonstrate strong work behaviours from various functions and sites within IMSC. Responsibilities and impact you will have:

• Lead the intake, scoping, prioritization, resolution, and resourcing of external manufacturing support requests, ensuring robust asset management.
• Develop and deploy global supplier/vendor partnerships, driving partner engagement and standardization of contracts.
• Collaborate with Partnerships & External Supply, Site Engineering and Maintenance, Facilities Management, Digital Operations, and other relevant global functions to ensure the implementation of standard and fit-for-purpose solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Minimum of a Master's University Degree, or equivalent, required.

Experience and Skills:

• End-to-end experience (Drug Substance, Drug Product, Packaging) manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, and capital execution experience in Pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
• Highly developed expertise in core areas such as cGMP, Asset Management, Asset Optimization Methodologies, and ISO 55000 standards.
• Shown ability to synthesize strategies, business needs, engineering elements, and technology inputs into data-driven business solutions.
• Consistent track record in efficiently implementing strategies and leading business transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional ability to work, connect, and communicate effectively at both shop floor and platform levels in a sophisticated environment, internally and externally.
• Intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo, influence without authority, and cultivate an inclusive and collaborative culture.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, additional languages (Dutch, Spanish, Italian) would be a significant advantage.
• This position may require up to 25% domestic and international travel.
