Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for an RN Medical/Surgical. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Carbondale IL 62901

Assignment Start Date: 4/29/2024

13 weeks Nights 12hour shift 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Needing 3 registered nurses competent in EMREpic

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess patients to determine their mental physical and spiritual needs.
• Assesses plans implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
• Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
• Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
• Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Participate in continuing education.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• At least 2 years of RN experience.
• Previous MedSurge experience preferred with competence in patient safety (patient education safe environment minimizing falls and preventing errors)
• Must be stroke certified (thats our biggest patient population) postoperation patients drains chest tubes heparin drips wound care altered mental status and CIWA patients.
• Must be Proficient in wound care and prevention.
• Must have good communication critical thinking and problemsolving teamworkoriented dependable and good with time management.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• NIH certified

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: 12hour shifts starting at 1900
