Shift: Days Full Time

Starting pay range: $82000.00 to $110000.00

The Senior Accounting Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the Bozeman Health financial system to ensure accurate transactions into the general ledger and performing monthly and annual close processes of the system. This position will perform or review journal entry postings and balance sheet reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting. Compile financial reporting to support internal and external regulatory reporting and survey requests for financial information. Superuser of financial general ledger system as well as the budgeting and reporting system. Supports the budget process and ensures alignment with financial reporting structure and appropriate accounting. Helps prepare audit work papers. Supervises and reviews the work of the Accounting and Adjustment Clerks and develops the accounting function for continuous improvement and efficiencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below employees must have ontime completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements Health Policy and other registry requirements.

• Prepares journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and assist with audit and budget work papers
• Supervise and review the work of the accounting & adjustment clerks
• Prepares annual surveys and other regulatory reporting
• Responsible for monthly and annual financial system close

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION (Nurse Practioner Position)

Experience:

• 3 years of healthcare experience is preferred
• A minimum of five years of accounting is required

Education:

• A Masters in Accounting is required

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• CPA is required.

• Strong leadership managerial skills; ability to plan delegate monitor and improve work performance
• Selfdirected complete assignments accurately thoroughly and with minimal oversight

• Standard office equipment and computer applications; MS Office EMR internet applications etc.
