Seeking Registered Nurses to join our ICU/CCU department! The RN will provide nursing care to all patients in the respective unit demonstrating the ability to triage and assess patients needs to ensure adequate care and nursing standards are met observe and initiate appropriate nursing treatments and report symptoms and conditions of patients to medical staff. In addition the RN will perform tasks such as assisting with invasive procedures administering medications documenting and assisting other staff members on the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting planning implementing and evaluating the delivery of care to accepted nursing and hospital standards
• Administering prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques.
• Maintaining awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients.
• Observing patient records significant conditions and reactions and notifies the physician of the patients condition and reaction to drugs treatments and significant incidents.
• Responding to all situations based on nursing standards policies procedures and protocol.
• Documenting nursing history and physical assessment for assigned patients.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION (Nurse Practioner Position)

Experience:

• Previous experience preferred

Education:

• At a minimum associates degree in nursing. BSN is preferred.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Current active Colorado Registered Nurse license.
• At a minimum current AHA and BLS Certification are required upon hire.
• RNs in the ICU require certifications such as ACLS PALS etc.
