J&J Innovative Medicine Research & Development (IM R&D), a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst – TDS End-to-end Partnership , supporting the global Therapeutics Development & Supply (TDS) business. Acceptable locations for this role include Beerse, Belgium, Titusville, NJ, Raritan, NJ; Spring House, PA. This role may require up to 10% of travel.

The Senior Finance Analyst – TDS End-to-end Partnership will provide financial and strategic leadership for the global Therapeutics Development & Supply (TDS) organization and its extensive partnership with diverse groups across J&J Innovative Medicine. TDS is responsible for the formulation and supply of products for testing in clinical trials in preparation for commercial readiness. TDS is a global team of more than 2,000 highly skilled scientists, engineers, and professionals with deep and broad scientific and global expertise. It works end-to-end in development and supply with capabilities across modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of finance contact for Supply Chain (IMSC), Medical Affairs (MAF) and Trade Compliance (TC) capitalizing on the unique enterprise capabilities of the TDS organization to provide support to partner groups.
  • Act with an agile business partnering mentality to deeply understand the TDS business support model, and leverage that understanding to drive operational efficiency and financial alignment.
  • Partner closely with IM Supply Chain for support of the full J&J Innovative Medicine commercialized product portfolio, product investigations and transfers. Ensure close connection and planning for startup of the IMSC Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) organization.
  • Fully own and lead the Medical Affairs forecasting and closing processes including partnership with Clinical Supply Chain, Global Development Medical Affairs Finance, and Therapeutic Area (TA) Finance.
  • Lead the annual R&D valuation exercise working in partnership with the Clinical Supply Chain, Synthetics and Biologics businesses.
  • Through all support noted above, lead the creation of a holistic view of the TDS residual budget and actuals.
  • Ensure that the principles and elements of the Credo, J&J Business policies, Healthcare Compliance, Regulatory, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley are adhered to in all aspects of job responsibilities.
Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • A Master’s degree, MBA and/or CPA, CMA, are preferred.

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with intellectual curiosity and proven ability to analyze complex financial problems.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Team-player and collaborative working style is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Continuously look for process improvements and maximize efficiency by challenging the status quo and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • SAP experience is also preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $76,000 - $121,900

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
