Location: Johnson City TN 37604

Assignment Start Date: 5/5/2024

13 weeks Days 12hour shift 36 hours/week guaranteed

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have 3 years of progressively responsible RN experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience desired;

Licenses Certifications and Registration:

• Must have current valid TN State RN licensure
• Must have BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS is required

EMR System: EPIC experience desired

Shift: Days 7 am 7 pm; 36/48 schedule

Additional Shift information: The hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule (use whichever is appropriate for the employment agreement) if there is a decrease in the census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.

Contract requirements: Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty.

Orientation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation are required. General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Must complete the compliance documents by the deadline.

Radius Rule: Radius Rule is 100 miles to qualify as a traveler. The travelers permanent residence must be 100 miles or > from the hospitals service area .
