We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and passionate Upstream Biomanufacturing Technical Specialist to join our Biomanufacturing team located at our site in Braine l’Alleud , Belgium.

About the Role

As a Technical Specialist, you will be at the heart of our Biomanufacturing operations. Your role involves ensuring the smooth flow of daily activities within our team by efficiently planning tasks and ensuring seamless coordination among various stakeholders. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong communication relationships with other teams and departments to ensure the overall success of our projects.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of process engineers, manufacturing specialists, and highly skilled technicians. Together, you will work closely to achieve our production and quality objectives.

What You'll Do

• Thoroughly plan equipment cleanings and releases according to production needs and procedure requirements.
• Be the undisputed reference for all equipment-related specifics, ensuring their proper functioning and maintenance.
• Actively collaborate in the preparation and monitoring of production campaigns in partnership with process engineers and manufacturing specialists.
• Ensure coordination of intra and inter-team activities, ensuring alignment and informing stakeholders about production schedule changes.
• Conduct technical reviews of documents and support team member training to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage improvement projects and new equipment, demonstrating your ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
• Act as the primary contact point between the team and other internal and external services, representing our interests and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement requests, while ensuring coordination of material and equipment releases.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

• Master's Degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in equipment qualification and process validation, as well as proficiency in automated and computerized tools (PCS7 would be a valuable asset).
• Excellent knowledge of USP process and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize.
• Fluency in French both orally and in writing is essential, as well as good English knowledge to effectively communicate with international partners.
