Business Intelligence Analyst

• Gather requirements, design, and develop solutions in support of new projects and BI analytics
• Design and build visually appealing intuitive dashboards to enable self-service analytics with actionable insights for our omnichannel sales and marketing teams and business executives
• Establish intuitive data models in Power Query / Power BI
• Apply DAX to build new measures to enhance the intelligence in each report
• Validate data warehousing data streams for quality and accuracy in collaboration with third-party systems integrators / agencies and IT.
• Support governance of data usage to ensure consistency, including development of data dictionary and guidance/rules on usage of specific metrics
• Create and maintain user-facing documentation and training for BI systems and dashboards
• Promote the mindset within the organization of driving decisions and business value through effective data mining and visualizations
• Provide user support to internal customers in accessing and using data within consumer-facing systems and tools including Excel, Power BI and similar systems.
• Conduct UAT to ensure accuracy of insights from BI tools

Must have key skills :

• Experience (2 to 5 years) in developing data models and dashboards in PowerBI
• Expertise in PBI/Power Query, including data modeling, dashboard creation, and DAX
• Expertise in dashboard design and data visualization techniques
• Experience in Power Query M formula language, SQL, cloud-based data management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mentality
• Experience in Python and cloud-based data management a plus
• Attention to detail and data accuracy. Commitment to quality assurance
• Familiarity with statistics
• Proven stakeholder-management skills including requirement gathering, establishing vision, managing expectations, collecting feedback, continuous improvement, and consistent communication
• Superb communication and presentation skills

Education, Experience, and other requirements:

• BE/B.tech 4 years degree or relevant degree mandatory
• Good to have Certificates in Power BI
• Consistent record (2+ years) of applying data to drive corporate decision-making
