As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of our project team and, together with your colleagues, responsible for the realization of our water installations. You will have the opportunity to develop your job with a lot of variety, freedom, and responsibility. What can you expect as a Mechanical Engineer:

1. Responsible for all aspects of HVAC design and management during the building phase.
2. Specify the most appropriate systems and equipment for user requirements, propose schematics, calculate equipment capacities, and determine piping and ducting systems with all their components.
3. Organize and follow the start-up of these systems, ensuring their validation.
4. Responsible for the chemical water treatment installation (with subcontractor) following the well-known Belgian regulations.
5. Provide engineering services to support troubleshooting of utilities issues.
6. Participate in or lead various projects in mechanical engineering.

Profiel

A master of industrial engineering or a master of science in engineering (or equivalent by proven experience) with a preference in mechanical engineering, having at least 5 years of experience in the field of HVAC in the process industry. Good knowledge of mechanics including ventilation plants (HVAC), plumbing, chemical water treatment works, fire systems, industrial air conditioners, personnel and goods elevators, clean water and wastewater infrastructure systems. Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (spoken and written), Turkish is a plus. Highly motivated, eager to learn, and willing to broaden knowledge in your field. Ability to function in a team to realize complete projects. Strong people management skills required in a leading role. A dynamic personality, proactive, and innovative work approach. Systematic analytical approach with a strong sense of responsibility regarding project financials, planning, and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
