Heidelberg Materials Belgium iscurrently looking for a

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

to join our headquarter located in Braine-l’Alleud .

You’ll reinforce our motivated Learning and Development team and will report directly to the L&D Manager.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • You coordinate, centralize and harmonize all the trainings for 3 Business lines (aggregates, concrete and cement) for Blue and White Collars (mandatory safety & function specific trainings + certifications).
  • You collaborate and you act as Partner with the local Training Administrators (aggregates & cement) based on plants; sharing best practices, encouraging exchange of ideas and procedures, optimizing the communication flow.
  • You centralize the training needs andyou develop, implement (in LMS) and monitor function specific training programs .
  • You coordinate the entire logistic aspects (A to Z) for the management of the trainings on our various production sites in Belgium (defining training partners , requesting quotes, planning sessions, booking training rooms, sending invites, recording participants in LMS, …)
  • You manage the requests for subsidies .
  • You work in close collaboration with (alignment or projects) and you act as back-up for the L&D team .

Your profile:

  • You have a proven experience of 5 years in organizing trainings , with a particular focus on Blue Collars profiles , ideally in the Industry.
  • You have a strong experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) .
  • You are digital-minded and familiar with new development and technology trends (Intranet, SharePoint, Teams).
  • You have a very hands-on personality, a real DO-er mentality .
  • Organization has no secrets for you and you always think in solutions .
  • You have strong project management skills , with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility and autonomy are key!
  • You communicate fluently in French and Dutch; English is a plus.
  • You will have a hybrid work location (Headquarters, production sites and home office).
