Senior Data Project Manager

For a client, we are seeking a Senior Data Project Manager :

• Lead the planning and execution of data governance projects in compliance with Data Governance & Management board policy.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used for sanctions screening.
• Oversee the improvement of report and MI (KPIs, KRIs) building processes to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Monitor and report on project progress to relevant parties.
• Train and support users in new data governance and reporting processes.
• Manage all project phases from ideation to planning and execution, including coordination with IT for technical developments.

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management within the financial services industry.
• Proven skills in Data Management, Systems, and Data usage activities.
• Experience with data governance, sanctions screening, and report building.
• Familiarity with regulatory data requirements is a plus.

• Practical experience or certification in Data Management tools like Collibra.
• Proficiency in Reporting tools like PowerBI.
• Strong background in a client segment such as capital markets, corporate banking, SME/retail banking, FMI, payments, wealth and investment management.
• Higher degree in finance, economy, IT, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in delivering and executing complex projects using various methodologies (waterfall, agile, lean, DevOps, etc.).
• Excellent client-facing skills and ability to manage client relationships.

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch/French is an advantage.
