2x HV AP's

Astute's Strategic Division are currently recruiting for 2x HV AP's to join the EPC Contractor on a new build Data Centre in Central Belgium on an initial 6 months contract basis.

The HV AP positions come with a day rate from €500.00 to €650.00 per day AOR / EOR. Accommodation will be provided.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Act as an HV Authorised Person (AP) on a major new-build Data Centre project in Central Belgium, supporting the safe delivery and energisation of HV electrical systems.
Carry out and oversee HV switching, isolation, earthing and energisation activities in accordance with site Electrical Safety Rules and Safe Systems of Work.
Hold previous AP authorisation up to 33kV, with strong practical experience operating and controlling HV electrical systems.
Prepare, issue, manage and close relevant Permits to Work, isolation documentation, LOTO and other electrical safety documentation.
Support the testing, commissioning and energisation of HV switchgear, transformers, cabling and associated electrical infrastructure.
Review RAMS, switching schedules and electrical drawings/SLDs, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with project procedures.
Previous experience working as an HV AP within Data Centres, Power Generation, Utilities, Critical Infrastructure or other major industrial projects would be highly desirable.
Due to the required mobilisation timescale, EU nationals are preferred, although candidates who already hold the appropriate right to work/visa for Belgium will also be considered.Location, day rate and timeframe of the HV AP positions:
