To further develop and grow this ambition we are looking for a Account Manager - High Tech Cucumber - BASF | Nunhems - Haelen/Nunhems.
Your role
As Account Manager, you are responsible for the commercial development of our cucumber portfolio in South Netherlands and Belgium. You build strong customer relationships, translate market insights into opportunities, and work closely with colleagues across the Benelux and international organization.
Your responsibilities
Sales & Customer Development
- Develop and execute sales plans for your region.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Introduce new varieties and commercial solutions.
- Identify market opportunities and customer needs.
- Achieve regional sales targets.
- Represent BASF | Nunhems in the market.
Market & Product Development
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Share customer and market insights with internal teams.
- Support variety testing and product introductions.
- Contribute to regional crop strategies.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Agronomy.
- Help identify future business opportunities.
Marketing & Collaboration
- Organize customer events, demonstrations and campaigns.
- Work closely with Customer Marketing and Sales colleagues.
- Support knowledge sharing within international teams.
- Build strong relationships across functions and regions.
What you bring
- HBO/Bachelor working and thinking level.
- Background in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Sciences or similar.
- Relevant experience in horticulture, vegetable production or agriculture.
- Affinity with greenhouse crops and commercial activities.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Valid driver's license.
