Within the Finance Shared Service Center of Tessenderlo Group we are currently looking for an interim AP/AR Accountant, who will also assist in the VAT administration process and will be the point of contact for the HQ purchasing process.  

As Accounting Support you are, together with the team, responsible for

Accounts Payable:

• Invoice processing:
  • Sorting of invoices
  • Scanning and validating of invoices
  • Invoice posting
  • Invoice workflow processing
  • Preparing payment vouchers,
  • Follow up and solve exceptions (payment advices, vendor invoice queries, …)
  • Post T&E notes
• Comply with the AP Closing and Reporting checklist (AP account reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliations, …)

You will report to the AP/AR Team Lead.

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or 1 to 3 years of AP/AR experience
• Positive, driven personality and a team player;
• Always willing to learn;
• Strong customer focus & proactive communication skills;
• You are fluent in Dutch; French and English are a plus
• Experience with MS Office;
• Previous exposure to SAP

This is initially a 12 months contract.
