Application Architect Senior

A leading European financial services organization is looking for a Senior iOS Application Architect / Technical Lead to support the evolution of its flagship mobile application platform.

The role will focus on shaping the technical architecture of the iOS platform, ensuring high standards in performance, scalability, security, and maintainability while supporting continuous innovation in the mobile ecosystem.

You will collaborate with cross -functional teams including mobile engineers, architects, designers, and product owners to deliver modern and robust mobile solutions.

Requirements

· Define and guide the technical architecture of the iOS platform.

· Design and implement complex mobile features and architectural improvements.

· Drive best practices around clean code, modularization, and scalable architecture.

· Collaborate with Android and backend teams on cross -platform architectural concepts.

· Mentor and coach developers within the mobile engineering team.

· Conduct architectural and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.

· Evaluate emerging iOS technologies and integrate relevant innovations.

· Contribute to long -term mobile platform strategy and technical roadmap.

Required Skills & Expertise

Must Have

· Extensive experience in iOS development and architecture.

· Strong expertise in Swift.

· Hands -on experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.

· Deep understanding of mobile design patterns (MVVM, dependency injection).

· Experience with Apple iOS SDK and Xcode.

· Strong experience with Git -based version control.

· Experience working in Agile development environments.

· Understanding of mobile networking and API integration.

Should Have / Nice to Have

· Experience mentoring or leading mobile development teams.

· Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

· Experience working in large -scale mobile applications.

· Familiarity with mobile security practices and accessibility standards.

· Experience collaborating across cross -platform mobile teams.
