We’re seeking an elite Application Owner / Ops Engineer (Freelance) for a 5-month mission with our client in Brussels. What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor and report on production components, proactively identifying and resolving issues.


• Investigate, analyze, and resolve production problems in close collaboration with your agile team.


• Test and validate new software releases and fixes, ensuring stability and quality.


• Support release cycles, handling stress and complexity with composure and precision.


• Develop or modify code, write queries, and perform in-depth analyses to optimize application performance.


• Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for all application changes and processes.


• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for your applications, liaising with helpdesk, technical experts, business stakeholders, and external partners.


• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of business applications within a multidisciplinary scrum team.


• Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents, ensuring transparent communication with customers and stakeholders.


• Provide expert advice to IT colleagues and users on new projects and ongoing initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools (Confirmed)


• Active Directory (Junior)


• Azure DevOps (Junior)


• MS Powershell (Junior)


• IT Service Management (ServiceNow) (Junior)


• Writing queries (Junior)


• SOAP / Postman (Advantageous)


• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Advantageous)

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in Dutch or French (required)


• Active knowledge of the second national language (junior level)


• English: understanding

Other Requirements

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams


• Hybrid working model: 2 days per week onsite (including a fixed team day), 3 days remote


• Available for a 5-month freelance engagement in Brussels
