Job Description - Application Senior Developer - Liège - Belgium

Interested to join a strongly growing and dynamic international insurance company? To reinforce its IT team, Monument Belgium is looking for an application developer Delphi Cobol for its Liège office. You will report to the IT Softwares & Planning Manager Belgium and will be in charge of the management, development and maintenance of applications developed internally.  
  • You participate in technical feasibility studies and contribute to the reflection on the functional analysis
  • You carry out the technical realization and improvement of all kinds of applications according to specifications
  • You test programs and formulate correction proposals to meet established standards
  • You are responsible for the proper functioning of generated applications to ensure their continued operation
  • You prepare the technical documentation concerning the programs developed in order to provide IT colleagues with a tool for the use of the programs
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer science and you have at least minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • You have interest in learning Delphi
  • You are fluent in French and English
  • This role would suit a dynamic team player, who is energetic and passionate with a positive can-do attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are methodical, rigorous and are able to meet your deadlines
  • You have knowledge of SQL
  • You are comfortable with O365 tools
  • You master the subversion tools
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Jira, AzureDevops is a plus
  • You are familiar with Agile development method like Scrum model
