We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Production Assistant Manager to lead our production teams and play a key role in the future of our operations.

This position offers a unique career opportunity: working closely with the Production Manager as a trusted partner, with the objective of progressively growing into a Production Manager role within the next 1–2 years.

Your Mission

As Production Assistant Manager you will ensure the smooth execution of daily production activities while maintaining the highest standards in:

You will be at the heart of operations, coordinating teams, solving problems on the shop floor, driving performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead Daily Operations

• Ensure the successful execution of the production schedule
• Coordinate and supervise shop floor activities to meet operational priorities and deadlines
• Quickly identify production challenges and implement effective solutions
• Guarantee compliance with quality standards and operational procedures

Inspire & Develop Teams

• Lead a team of approximately 28–30 operators (welders, machinists, assemblers, painters, etc.)
• Organize workloads and optimize team efficiency
• Coach, motivate, and develop employees to strengthen skills and performance
• Create a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture

Coordinate Maintenance Activities

• Work closely with a team of maintenance technicians to maximize equipment availability and reliability
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance planning
• Act as a strong link between production and maintenance teams

Drive Performance

• Monitor and analyze operational KPIs such as productivity, OEE, quality, and safety
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute actively to operational excellence and efficiency improvements

Promote Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Foster a strong safety-first mindset on the shop floor
• Lead initiatives related to 5S, Lean manufacturing, and process optimization
• Encourage teams to contribute ideas and participate in improvement projects

Grow into a Future Leadership Role

• Act as the right hand of the Production Manager
• Participate in operational and strategic decision-making
• Take ownership and progressively expand your responsibilities
• Prepare to evolve into a Production Manager position within 1–2 years

What We Are Looking For

• Master in Engineering or equivalent experience in industrial production
• Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of industrial processes such as welding, machining, assembly, and painting
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a dynamic environment
• Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / 5S knowledge is a plus)
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
