Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to support infrastructure teams by streamlining operations through automation. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Unix systems, Ansible, and automation in complex environments. You will contribute to increased operational efficiency by automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks across technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities based on frequency and effort of tasks

• Develop and deploy automation scripts and workflows using Ansible

• Collaborate with other technical specialists to capture automation requirements

• Utilize the Ansible Automation Platform as the preferred tool

• Follow ITIL-aligned processes (Change Management, Transition, etc.)

• Support process standardization and maintain technical documentation

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years experience in managing Unix/Linux systems in large-scale environments

• Advanced Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) user with proven automation expertise

• Proficiency in Ansible (mandatory); experience with Ansible Automation Platform is a strong advantage

• Experience with Python scripting is beneficial

• Basic understanding of VMware, databases, or network principles is a plus

• Bachelors degree in IT or a related field

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Fluent in both French and English
