Automation Tester

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Automation Tester to join our UniQue team in Brussels.

• Design, prepare and monitor automated tests.
• Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process.
• Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach.
• Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.
• Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach.
• Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.
• Desing and perform the QA review of business requirements and technical analysis documents.
• Design, prepare and perform end-to-end tests (mixing automated and manual tests).
• Design, prepare and perform system integration testing (mixing automated and manual tests).
• Investigate bugs to find root causes in a complex web of applications, test and validate bug fixes.
• Design UAT plans and support users throughout UAT.
• Evaluate the performance of automated tests, manual tests and UAT and propose improvements (on method, procedures, tools, etc.)

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor's degree and 17 years of experience or Master's degree and 13 years of experience in IT.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or equivalent is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques.
• Hands-on experience in the creation of test automation solutions.
• Strong experience of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
• Strong experience in test data management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.
• Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
• Proficiency in English language at a B2 level.
