The role: Chef de Partie

At Mea, the signature restaurant of Via Antwerp, we bring together bold Eastern Mediterranean flavours, vibrant energy, and unforgettable moments. As Chef de Partie, you’ll be right at the heart of it all — helping bring to life a concept developed by renowned chef Omri McNabb.

By day, Mea is a bright, welcoming escape with the aromas of roasted spices and freshly baked bread. By night, it transforms into a buzzing social scene with dishes designed to be shared, savored, and talked about.

You’ll support our kitchen team in delivering consistently high-quality plates, leading your section with pride, and contributing your skills to a menu full of soul and bold simplicity.

What you’ll do

• Take charge of your section and deliver consistently high-quality dishes

• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to execute a vibrant, Eastern Mediterranean menu

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, prep, and presentation

• Contribute ideas and energy to a creative, collaborative kitchen culture

• Help train and support junior team members, setting a great example

• Be part of our pre-opening team — helping to shape routines, systems, and standards from day one

You’ll be a great fit if you bring the below with you

• A skilled and passionate chef with experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi.

• Confident working in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment.

• Inspired by bold, seasonal ingredients and Mediterranean flavors.

• Eager to grow and be part of something fresh, dynamic, and design-led.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure.

• Fluent in English — Dutch is not a requirement.
