Business Analyst

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Interaction with other business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers;
• Facilitate the alignment of procedures and working methods with those required by the architecture of the new IT systems and contribute to the fine-tuning of business requirements to ensure that business needs are met;
• Providing input for the final business requirements of the new IT tools based on the outcome of the screening of the current administrative and financial procedures and contribute to change management activities (e.g. for onboarding of e-grants);
• Knowledge sharing on financial IT systems in a structured way with stakeholders;
• Assist with internal and external communication by improving of transparency and dissemination of information;
• Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs;
• Act as back up for the IT financial systems permissions management;
• Analysis and documentation of Business requirements;
• Business model analysis and business process analysis;
• Functional requirements and business cases analysis.

• University Degree and at least 17 years of IT professional experience;
• At least 5 years of experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems;
• At least 5 years of experience in Experience in Agile, PM2, Prince2, PMP, ITIL;
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Business Analysis in the context of management of Public finance;
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Good knowledge of agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab etc.);
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Good knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
• Certifications in PM2, ITIL certification,PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are considered a strong plus;
• Excellent command of the English language.
