Business Analyst (Ultimo)

To.Scale, on behalf of one of our clients, a major vehicle manufacturer based in Brussels, is looking for a Business Analyst with solid Ultimo expertise to help bring order and governance to a system that has grown a little too wild.

Ultimo, the group’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tool, was rolled out across multiple business units since 2020 and is currently under a growing need for standardization, alignment and data integrity.

Your mission will be to bridge business operations and IT&D, define best practices, and help transform Ultimo into a reliable, enterprise-grade platform that works for everyone.

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Clarify, analyze, and document business requirements with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with IT&D policies and architecture.
• Understand and document end-to-end business and system process flows.
• Facilitate workshops between business, IT, and external Ultimo teams to reach alignment.
• Collaborate with functional analysts and vendors to build user stories and support configuration.
• Engage closely with the Application Team, Center of Excellence, and Ultimo vendor.
• Present findings and solution proposals to technical and business audiences.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (3–5 years) with hands-on Ultimo knowledge (BA or configurator level).
• Strong analytical, process mapping, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities; able to bridge technical and business worlds.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Understanding of Agile and/or DevOps delivery environments.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience integrating Ultimo with ERP or ITSM tools (e.g. SAP PM, ServiceNow).
• Awareness of change management and data governance challenges in multi-site deployments.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or automotive environments.
