Launched in 2018 by D'Ieteren Automotive, we have grown from a 350-car startup in Antwerp to an 85+ people scale-up offering two complementary mobility solutions: shared mobility (our iconic red cars and vans in Brussels, Antwerp and the BE airports), and flexible leasing for businesses through Poppy Lease.

Poppy Lease is our fast-growing B2B arm: a smarter, more flexible alternative to traditional long-term leasing. We help companies, from scale-ups to established players, equip their teams with mobility that adapts to real life, without long contracts or hidden headaches. It is one of the most exciting chapters in Poppy's story, the area where we are investing heavily, and where you will have the most room to leave your mark.

Ready to reinforce our Poppy Lease team? As a Business Developer, you will keep the engine running and help us level up: taking ownership, delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving strong sales growth as we continue to expand.

Within this scope, your main responsibilities will include:

• Take full ownership of the entire sales cycle in close collaboration with our Key Account Manager: from prospecting via phone, mail and LinkedIn to booking qualified meetings and creating business opportunities.

• Identify customer mobility needs and position a flexible alternative to traditional leasing.

• Continuously optimize your outreach and sales approach to maximize impact and results.

• Take ownership of your targets and contribute directly to commercial growth.

🚗 Your Profile

• You bring solid experience in both hands-on back-office support and customer-facing roles, preferably in the automotive industry.

• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English.

• You are a self-starter who owns their pipeline, takes initiative and who isn't afraid to pick up the phone.

• You are structured, data-driven (you know your way around a CRM tool) and energized by hitting targets. 

• You have a strong commercial mindset and are a true team player.
