WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🔍
Kintiga is seeking a Business Development Operations Consultant to help us win the right work, at the right value. You’ll own core BD operations while leading and supporting high‑quality proposals—ensuring opportunities are identified, progressed, and converted with discipline and consistency.
Working within our global commercial function, you’ll create structure and momentum across outreach, preparation, follow‑up, and proposal delivery. Your work will free senior leaders to focus on high‑value client engagement while strengthening our data‑driven approach to business development.
This role requires strong writing and analytical skills, familiarity with the pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare consulting landscape, and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams under tight deadlines.
Role Focus
- Global commercial role with an initial emphasis on supporting the Benelux market (c. 70–80% in year one)
- Build and run BD processes, templates, and tools to support growth and reduce pressure on senior leadership
- Develop approaches that can scale across Kintiga’s wider commercial operations over time.
Key responsibilities are:
Business development operations (global, with Benelux focus)
- Consolidate and structure the client and contact “universe” within CRM systems, ensuring data quality, segmentation, and usability for outreach and reporting.
- Design and execute account and contact strategies (with clear prioritisation for Benelux), applying segmentation frameworks to support targeted outreach campaigns.
- Track leads, opportunities, and proposal activity through the pipeline, producing clear reporting on outreach activity, pipeline health, and impact.
- Analyse BD data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, supporting evidence‑based commercial decisions.
- Develop, document, and continuously improve BD processes, playbooks, templates, and ways of working that can scale across the global commercial team.
Proposal leadership and support
- Lead and support the end‑to‑end proposal process, from opportunity triage through to submission and contract award.
- Provide “light‑touch” but high‑quality proposal support where appropriate, including pulling relevant case studies, credentials, references, and drafting proposal shells from templates.
- Coordinate proposal inputs across Business Development and Delivery teams, ensuring clarity on roles, timelines, and expectations.
- Ensure proposals are compliant, well‑structured, client‑focused, and aligned with Kintiga’s value proposition and commercial standards.
- Maintain and evolve a central library of proposal content, case studies, and reference material.
Client meeting preparation and follow‑up
- Support senior leaders—particularly in Benelux—with structured preparation for client meetings, including briefings, context, objectives, and follow‑up actions.
- Help ensure client interactions are intentional, well‑prepared, and consistently followed through.
Collaboration and ways of working
- Partner closely with Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Delivery teams to enable effective, joined‑up commercial execution.
- Operate confidently in a matrix environment, supporting multiple geographies and senior stakeholders without creating bottlenecks.
- Contribute to BD pipeline meetings, quarterly planning, and global commercial syncs—sharing learning, templates, and processes that strengthen the wider business.
- Help ensure continuity of commercial support through documented processes, shared tools, and effective cover during peaks or absence.
Experience:
- Degree educated (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences or Business
- Experience in business development or sales operations and proposal management, ideally within consulting, life sciences, biotech or healthcare environments.
- Strong proposal writing, editing and coordination skills, with the ability to absorb complex technical input and translate it into clear, compelling commercial narratives.
- Highly organised with excellent project management capability, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Confident working with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot), BD data and standard productivity tools (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to track performance and support decision‑
- Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguity by designing and maintaining effective processes, pipelines, templates and plans.
- Comfortable operating in a matrix environment, working collaboratively across teams, leaders and geographies.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and detail‑driven, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a focus on enabling others to perform at their best.
- Native-level Dutch & fluent French speaker, with English at a business level language.
