Duties and Role:  

Manage high availability network security devices including firewalls, web proxies, email gateways and VPN:

• Install patches
• Troubleshoot problems
• Configure new devices
• Hardware replacements as needed

Must be able to perform all of the duties and have the following skills from the start of the assignment:

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• At least eight years of experience working with network security devices
• Experience working in a large and complex environment with high availability
• Knowledge and multiple years of experience working with Juniper firewalls
• Knowledge and multiple years of experience working with Fortinet firewalls
• Knowledge and multiple years of experience working with Palo Alto firewalls
• Knowledge and multiple years of experience working with Fortinet web proxies
• Knowledge and multiple years of experience working with Cisco Firepower VPN
• Knowledge and multiple years of experience working with Proofpoint email gateways
• Knowledge of network technology
• Cisco certification a benefit but not required
