Chief Technician - On Site

You’ll be stepping into a critical role within a high-security digital collaboration environment, supporting the configuration, integration, and performance of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams, and related systems.

This is a full-time on-site role based in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium, with occasional travel within the country.

At €72/hour and with a clearly defined scope, this 3.5-month engagement is ideal for a systems expert who delivers dependable support and values structured, high-trust work environments.

As Chief Technician, you will:

• Configure and integrate collaboration systems including Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams, and Exchange Online
• Lead and document complex integration builds and testing
• Maintain application support processes and troubleshoot using standard tools
• Provide L2 and L3 support, including on-site emergency response
• Ensure systems are correctly configured, secured, and monitored
• Assist with hardware/software installation and removal, with accurate tracking
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for collaboration and email security
• Participate in Health & Risk Assessments and contribute to Service Improvement Plans
• Stay current with cloud technologies and collaboration platform trends
• Collaborate with internal teams and manage outsourced support

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft collaboration platforms
• Strong skills in MS Exchange (on-prem & cloud), MS Teams, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Windows Server
• Experience supporting both server and client components (e.g. Outlook, Teams)
• Hands-on with enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, and secure deployments
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and performance monitoring skills
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in secure IT environments
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher)
