CLAIMS HANDLER

We are seeking professionals with previous experience managing and resolving out-of- court liability claims to mitigate risks effectively, expand the client portfolio and fuel business expansion.

We are looking for individuals with with a Law, Insurance, Marine or similar degree, excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills to establish our company as a leader in the industry.

This position is based in our Antwerp office in Belgium.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients.
2. Develop key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans and successfully execute them to achieve sales targets.
3. Suggest actions and put them into practice in order to increase our penetration in different markets (market events, meetings, video calls, presentations, etc.)
4. Develop other lines of business such as BARBUSS Claims: survey coordination, investigation, loss adjustment, and defense.

Requirements:

1. Between 1-3 years of prior experience Previous experience within Insurance Companies, Loss Adjusters, Brokers, International Shipping Companies, Law firms etc.
2. Law, Insurance, Engineer, Marine or similar Degree.
3. Fluent or Native English and Dutch.
4. Professional working French (desired)
5. Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
